Còisirean
Chaidh Ceòlraidh Ghàidhlig Ghlaschu (no an ‘GG’ mar as fheàrr as aithne e) a stèidheachadh ann an 1893 agus is e a’ chòisir Ghàidhlig as sine ann an Alba. Chaidh Còisir Ghàidhlig Bhaile Ghobhainn a chur air bhonn ann an 1929 agus Còisir Ghàidhlig Ìleach Ghlaschu ann an 1944. Tha na trì còisirean a’ leantainn air adhart a’ ruith-thairis gach seachdain agus a’ farpais aig Mòdan ionadail is nàiseanta le mòran soirbheachaidh. Tha buill ùra di-beathte.
The Glasgow Gaelic Musical Association (or the ‘GG’ as it is popularly known) was founded in 1893 and is the oldest Gaelic choir in Scotland. The Govan Gaelic Choir was formed in 1929 and the Glasgow Islay Gaelic Choir in 1944. All three choirs continue to rehearse weekly and compete at local and national Mods with considerable success. New members are welcome.
